Solving multiplication problems using arrays

Reflection
In this activity I was learning to  solve multiplication problems with arrays. I found this easy because I have done this in class and on mathletics. I learnt what a row and a column is. Next time I want to more challenging  arrays. I also need to learn my tables so I don't need to skip count.

Duck Down

Reflection in this activity WALT make and justify inferences. I found it hard because some of questions were a little tricky. Next time I have to read the questions over and over again to understand it.

Explanation Writing

Reflection in this activity I was learning to write an explanation. I found this tricky because I think I should work on using different topic words. I would like to write another explanation and use more topic words.

Karearea Facts

Reflection I was learning to skim and scan to find information in a text. I worked with a buddy  and enjoyed this.I learnt that New Zealand has more penguins species on its shores than any other countries in the world! and that The karearea can fly at speeds of 100 km h or more and catch prey that is larger than itself!

Making Connections - Jack's Owl

Reflection I was learning to answer a range of comprehension questions by making connections in the text.  I found it easy because I understand the book well. Next time I want to read a book that is more challenging.

EPS school values sorting activity

Reflection in this activity I was learning to solve the elm-park school values I found it tricky because sometimes i don´t now what is right or wrong and i think I am going to pick the value Resilience because I find it hard to finish my work on time.

Guzzler dose the Job

Reflection In our group we were reading a book about guzzler I found it tricky because I did not understand some of the answers next time I need to work on understand the book and the answers.

My Gross Food - Exaggeration Poem

Reflection I was learning to write an exaggeration poem I found it tricky to think of some thing of good words and none good words. I enjoined doing it for our speech and I hope I can do this again!.

Food chain

Reflection WE were learning to solve a food chain. I found it a little tricky and a little hard. because I did not understand some of it. Next time I think I should do another food chain.

Time - digital and analogue.

Reflection In this I was learning to read an analogue clock and write the time in numbers and words. I found it easy because i now half past now. I enjoyed it and i want to learn about half past again next time.

Reflection in this activity we are learning to make and justify simple inferences. I enjoyed doing this activity and I want to learn more about bees I found it a little bit tricky. I need to keep working on inferencing.

In this activity we were learning to make connection to other thing we know that eating plastic in the sea. I could not make any connections. I learnt that birds sometimes eat bottle caps and plastic and they can choke or die. I also learnt to make a flipgrid. I enjoyed this activity.

Incredible insects - Comprehension

Reflection I this activity we were learning to answer a range of comprehension questions I had a buddy help me to find answers in the book and to look for some information on websites. I found this tricky because I didn't understand some of the information. I need to keep working on this. I learnt some things about butterflies.

Bonds to 20

Reflection  My group was learning bonds to 20. I found some of them easy because I know some of my bonds to 20. Next time i think i need to do my bonds to 30 if I can. n

Reflection In this activity I was learning to plan for my explanation writing using a graphic organisier on padlet. I found this easy because we used pictures to help understand the steps.

Growing pumpkin's - Find information in the text

Reflection I was Learning to find information in the text.   I learnt how to grow pumpkins and there were steps. I found it tricky to find the main ideas.  Next time I need to keep working on finding the main ideas in the text.

Reflection In this activity my task was to sort living and non- living things. I found it easy because I know where everything needs to go.  I found it tricky to put it on my blog. Next time  I want to know more about living things and non living things.

I was learning to make tapa. I enjoyed painting the tapa. It was tricky to colour in the corners. Next time I should do it neatly.

Corn - Skimming and Scanning

Relfeltions I was learning how to find information in non-fiction-text by skimming in scanning I found it tricky because I need to keep working on looking at all parts of the book to find information. Next time I need to read my questions carefully to answer them correctly.

Reflection I was learning about graphs. I did a statistical enquiry with a buddy. I in enjoyed doing this activity because it was fun and next time I  will try and do one on my own.

Bio Poem

Reflection I was learning to write Bio poem about myself. I found this tricky because it was hard to think about good sentences. I got help and next I need to  try and do more myself next time.
